Five-year-old Trey was born a preemie at 34 weeks and, eight days after birth, suffered a stroke causing hemorrhaging on the brain and the resulting brain damage. While Trey cannot sit, stand, or walk on his own, he uses a gait trainer 1 to 2 hours every day to work on building up strength.
Trey’s mother requested a Tumble Form Biform Wedge from MGCA, which helps Trey build strength in his upper body. Now he can stretch his tight arms and learn to bear weight on his hands. We hope that in the future Trey will gain the strength to learn to crawl, and this Biform Wedge is helping him toward that goal on a daily basis.
